Design Tips | The Story Elves - Help with writing, editing, illustrating and designing your own stories

- Tip -

Make space!

When a page is crowded, it is hard for the reader to appreciate your work.

So, make sure your story has plenty of white space!

One easy way to create more white space is by leaving blank lines in between your paragraphs!  You can put blank lines in handwritten stories and also in stories that are typed.

You want space for your story text and also for your illustrations.  And you don’t want too much on one page.
